We are looking for an experienced DevOps Team Lead to lead and mentor the DevOps Engineers team to design, develop, monitor, scale and optimize the infrastructure of our products. As part of this role, you’ll partner with engineering teams and other stakeholders from early stages of design to affect the outcome of stable, supportable and cost effective DevOps services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the DevOps engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team’s success and professional growth
• Hire, train, and mentor new team members as the team grows
• We will collaborate with the product, development, and QA teams to ensure smooth integration, testing, and deployment of software releases
• Lead the planning, design, and implementation of DevOps projects
• We will drive automation to optimize system performance, reliability, scalability and availability
• Establish and continually improve CI/CD processes to ensure that your software is delivered quickly, reliably, and with the highest quality
• Collaborate with teams to drive process changes that can help improve development and release workflow
• To take a deep dive into the technical details and provide expert advice and solutions
• Drive a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the SW Engineering industry
• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Team Leader/Manager
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer with proven expertise in cloud infrastructure and systems
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in running and maintaining large-scale production systems over AWS/Azure stack
• Proven experience with container technology and familiarity with container orchestration and tools, such as Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, etc.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools and frameworks, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
• Experience in scripting and programming, such as Bash, Python, Go, Groovy
• Experience with various SQL and\or NoSQL technologies
• Experience with observability tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices
• Familiarity with the software development life cycle and secure coding practices to safeguard the integrity and security of our products
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills

Education

Bachelor’s/BSc in engineering or science field or related technical certificate
